Since 2010 VENTILATOR RECORDS (Vinyl & CD) has been the first choice for music lovers in Winterthur. Located on the former Sulzer industrial site “Lagerplatz”, we currently feature around 25,000 titles to choose from. Whether vinyl LP’s, 7 “singles, CD’s, tapes, T-shirts, books, buttons, DVD’s, Blu-ray and accessories - you can browse extensively here!

We offer a very wide array of new releases, reissues, but also second-hand and rarities - always knowledgeable and competent.

Stylistically, it ranges from indie rock, metal, new wave, funk, soul, jazz, hip hop, folk, punk, electronica, soundtracks and world music to the best of the local music scene.

For the care and storage of your records, we offer a broad selection of record brushes, inner and outer sleeves, CD sleeves, LP and single cases, record bags and much more.

Most of our stock can be ordered online at Discogs. Ventilator Records has more than twenty years of experience in online trading on various platforms. We ship quickly, cheaply and always packed securely.

We’re happy to take your orders for records that are not in stock in the store. For hard-to-find and out-of-print recordings, we recommend our rarities search service.

Technics MK II turntables and a CD player are available for relaxed auditions, including competent advice.

We make every effort to find the title you are seeking at the best possible price and within a reasonable period of time. You can decide for yourself whether you’d like new or second-hand, and on request we can also send the goods to your home by post. You can pay conveniently using PayPal or by bank transfer.

Search Service
Our rarity search service is recommended for all record collectors and hunters for lost treasures. Basically, many rarities can be found somewhere, but in the end it’s often simply a question of price.
And this is how it works: You send us your request and we’ll start looking and inform you as soon as possible about the availability and price of the recording you are looking for. Only after you confirm the price from your side will the article be procured. We’ll be more than happy to send the goods to your home by post. You can pay conveniently via PayPal or by bank transfer.
